Update 01 - Keys and Doors


This first upload was a bit of a struggle for me. I had a clear concept in mind, but went about it too slowly to get the vision across in the first build. It's a little like the doors that seem so simple, but can easily become a nuisance if you don't approach them the right way. For next time, I plan to do what I know how to do and ask questions far sooner. That being said, I am happy with how the door system turned out. Though the key needs a bit of work, I think the casting to locked doors is a success. Whether or not it needs to remain an item the player picks up, or can be merely a collectible, remains to be seen.
